There are no substantive economic reports out this week. Nevertheless, interest rates are trending lower thanks to NY Fed President John Williams, who last Friday said that he believes interest rates are currently too restrictive. The New York Fed holds a lot of clout in the FOMC and always votes, irrespective of posted tenure. As the words crossed his lips, the likelihood of a Fed rate cut on December 10th rose from 33% to 77%.
