According to a recent homebuilding survey, this should be a great year in the new construction arena. Orders are up 32% from this time last year, and foot traffic is this highest in three years. Additionally, website traffic is up 19%. From January 2014, prices are up 4.0%, and are expected to rise another 4.3% by January 2016.
MBS are in a downward channel (meaning that interest rates are going up) still, but I am optimistic that we’ll see rates come back down. Not positive, just optimistic.
