Very few people on this earth have all the time and money they want. For most of us it’s one or other. And for some of us, sometimes, it’s neither. Right now I have the blessing of having a lot of time on my hands, which I have started filling with cycling. Over the course of the last few months, I’ve gotten in better condition and had the hairbrained idea to enter some sort of a road race. As I started looking around, I found one happening in a few months and the race fee proceeds go to support a good cause: cancer. Better said, the funds raised will go toward cancer research, prevention, and treatment. Which is the opposite of supporting cancer, it’s battling against it. You all know that I love giving back our community including handing out Thanksgiving pies, free mortgage payments, and donating professional moving services, to name a few. So I’m nervously excited for this next occasion, which will take a lot more effort on my part. And I’d love to give you an opportunity contribute to this worthwhile cause, whether it’s $1, $10, or $100.
