No Joke, the Unemployment Rate ticked up a notch today to 5.0%.  I don’t see it as a big deal because on the flip side there were more newly created jobs than expected, and the average rate of pay increased.

The Fed Futures account for a 30% chance of a rate hike in June and a 53% probability in September; those are each up an average of 10% from yesterday.  I stand by my prediction yesterday that 30 year interest rates will stay below 4.0% through the election.
